Hi! Nili Nathan here. I have a TV show and a website Great Healing Getaways where I research, write and report on holistic health from around the world. Today I am talking to you and showing you how to make some homemade facials right at home. It is very easy, it is inexpensive, it is good for your skin and you are going to have a lot of fun. This next one is an avocado mask. This is good for dry skin. It is good for all skins but it is particularly good for dry skin or when you are feeling your skin is a little dry, you may want to try this. It is really easy. I am going to make this next formula without any essential oils just to show you that you do not always need essential oils. Some people may not like them for some reason and I do not know why. Here you take half of an avocado. This is a nice and ripe but not too overly ripe, just perfect avocado that you mash up. You are going to want to get some chips for this but don’t and then plain yogurt. Everyone in my house gets excited when I make this because they think it is like a guacamole and chips time but it is not and then you know it is child’s play. I put it in a bowl one or two tablespoons of the yogurt just like that; see that in the bowl? This is enough for like two or three applications. So you can store it in the refrigerator just for a couple of days and then pour in your honey. Honey is amazing. I sometimes use honey directly on my skin when I am feeling like I have gotten little dry or dry lines. I just put it right on my skin, you know before I go to bed and it is amazing. It really softens your skin. It smells delicious and that is basically it. You may want to add just a little more honey, so I probably have a total of three tablespoons of honey in here. If you want, you can add one or two drops of any essential oil like rose or neroli would be nice in this or you don’t have to if you do not want to. Then I take my sea sponge and you would apply this to your face. Leave it on for 20-25 minutes and then wash it off with warm water and like I said you could store it in the refrigerator for a couple of days, 2-3 days or invite a friend over and have a spa party.
