Hi, Welcome to Playdrome Devon Lanes. Tonight we're going to walk you through some advanced bowling techniques so you can improve your game. We're going to start off with proper stance, how to set your feet, your body, so that your ball will be able to roll to the pins very easily, very repetitively. The most important thing with bowling is that simple, repetitive motion allows you to maximize your score. Alright, since we've determined where we're going to attack the lanes from, the first point we want to get to is we want to talk about the stand. The stance is the basis that you build the house on. You want to be balanced. Those of us that are older are going to set our feet at shoulder width apart. At that point, that will get us a good boxer stance, a nice place to start from. Once we get our feet set to where we to want them, tilt the hips open a little bit, because the ball is going to roll away under modern conditions. At that point, we set the ball over the big toe, bend the knees a little bit, and then the ball walks away from us and we roll the ball.
