on 6/13/2009 Use a dishwasher!
Turn the heat drying feature off so you don't melt it.
Don't use soap, simple warm water will clean it and get rid of the dust bunnies and soda spills that cause most problems.
After wash cycle is done take the keyboard out and let it sit for a couple days to make certain it drys out then go ahead and plug it in.
Its like having a new keyboard!

on 5/27/2009 Better than "prying keys up" is taking the frame off the top of the keys. It usually has little tiny molded "clips" around the back edge. First remove little screws, then go around the edge with a VERY tiny flat screwdriver (like the kind that comes in electronic screwdriver kit) and gently go around the edge and "unlock" the little clips. (women have a knack for this, men will sometimes be too rough and break them, so be careful guys) Once you get them all free, you can lift off the frame, and voila! you can now easily clean everything. When you are done, it just snaps backtogether and put the screws back in. Copyright Donna Sander

on 4/25/2008 I have an old Microsoft Natural keyboard (with white, curvy keys). M/N E06401PS2 I like it a lot.
I would like some assurance that if I try to pry up the keys [with a butter knife], I won't break anything.
After I get assurance, I'll be delighted to start popping off the keys for the first time in 9 years.
Thanks,
