Hi, I'm Travis Hettenbach with LED Source and today we're going to look at how you change a bulb in a flashlight to an LED. Now what I've got here is a classic B cell flashlight. Why would you want to change over to LED. Well your batteries are going to last longer when you do. The batteries will last longer, the flashlight itself maybe you've got some old ones around you want to switch them over and get higher output, well LED is the way to go. So today we're going to show you how to do that. The first step is to unscrew the cap, take the lens off of the flashlight so you can gain access to where the bulb is. After that we'll unscrew the retaining ring that holds the bulb inside of it. Pull the bulb out, get your new bulb at any hardware store, pop it right back in, screw the retaining ring back in to hold the bulb in place then we'll put the cap and the lens back on to the flashlight and that's all there is to it. Turn that new bright flashlight on and that's what you've got is a nice long lasting flashlight just like the one you used to have only even brighter, longer lasting batteries, and you just extended the entire life of your flashlight by many years to come. It's as simple as that. That's how you switch over an old flashlight in to a new LED bulb. I'm Travis Hettenbach with LED Source. Thanks.
