Hi I'm Kate Leser, The Makeover Expert. Today's topic is the best casual clothes for men over 60, 60 is the new 40. So let's be stylish while being comfortable. You are still young enough to be stylish so let's have some fun with our colors and patterns. Here we have a more modern plaid. We have paired it with a brighter color T-shirt that always will bring you into style. Then we have paired it with a nice slack here that is easy wear. So this is one look. This is great for going out to dinner or just going to the library or to the store. Then we have added a pair of corduroys, will just change the look somewhat and corduroys are very easy and comfortable to wear. So this will create another comfortable look for you. We also have jeans, a dark wash is what I recommend. Dark wash goes with everything and it will look a little more modern but not so young because that's one thing you don't want to look is too young. You don't want to look like you are trying too hard to look younger. So you can do that by using color, pattern, texture. So if you're one of the gentleman that love to wear your golf shirts or love to wear polos because they are comfortable and they wear well, they wick away moisture, I would recommend choosing a bright color. So here we have a great purple to go with the khakis. It also works back with the corduroys and the jeans. For the adventurous one, you can wear something even brighter in a more bold dramatic pattern and this works well back to the khakis or to your blue jeans or even to your golf shorts. So this is a wonderful way to say hey I'm 60 but don't write me off yet.
