Hi, my name is Rick Noel, and today we're going to show you the steps to switch your default search provider from Bing to Google. While a lot of people today use Bing as their default search engine, they can find additional value by using Google as well. For this example, we're gonna use Google Chrome to change the default search provider from Bing to Google, and the first thing is to go into the settings and change the default start up pages, so when you start Chrome that it starts one Google as opposed to Bing. So we're going to put Google in and take Bing out. Go ahead and click okay to save that change, and then the next step of the process is to change the default homepage, so that when we open a new tab that we'll open up a tab on the Google search engine. So, again, we will take out the Bing and change that to, and then go ahead and click okay. And then the third and perhaps the most important step is we're gonna change the actual default search provider from Bing and clicking the drop-down box we'll select Google as our default search provider, and then if we look at the manage search engines we'll see that Google is labeled the default search engine now. And from here, alls we need to do is go ahead and click save, and you'll see that the page comes up with Google as our default search engine. So as you can see, switching your default search provider from Bing to Google is very straight forward. In fact, switching it back is also straight forward.
