Hi, I'm Shannon Grossi, a software trainer, and I'm here to show you how to hide text in Word so that it will not be printed or seen. So inside we have a letter, and let's say that I planned to send this letter to a few other people, but there's a paragraph in it that not everybody needs to see. So to make my life easier, I'm just going to hide it before I print it to some of those recipients. First, I'll select the whole paragraph. Then, I'll come up to the font group and click on this little more button to open up the font dialogue box. From here, I'll check the hidden check box and click okay. So as long as my paragraph was selected and I did that, the text is hidden. Now if you would like to kind of see where the text still is, you can go to the paragraph group and click on the show hide button, and you can see it, when you click the button again it will be hidden. So therefor when you want to unhide it, it might be a good idea to click the show hide button so you can see it again, select it, and go back through the process to uncheck the box for the next recipient that should see that paragraph. And then I can turn off my show hide symbols and get my text back again. I'm Shannon Grossi, and that's how you can hide text in a word document.
