Hi, I'm Michael Bremmer, and today I'm going to talk to you about the most likely causes on why you are not connected to the internet. In most cases these are pretty simple things and they're what we call blindly obvious. One the router has lost power or has become disconnected. Go to the router, make sure it's got power on it. Lights are all flashing and blinking. And make sure all the cables are plugged in. Two, reset your computer. Sometimes computer goof up they're not perfect. So sometimes just to restart the computer will fix it. Three, did you pay your bill? Sometimes people forget to pay their bills so the internet provider shuts them off. Number four, try another device. Maybe the computer is having a problem. Does your iPhone work? Does your iPad work? Does your coworker's computer work? Five, is your computer plugged into the internet? Is your wireless card working? And six, this is the most common. Sometimes a website has a problem. Try a different more commonly used website like Yahoo or Google and see if that works.
