I'm Aaron tucker and this is how to measure yourself without a tape measure. For all intensive purposes you should not take measurements on yourself without a tape measure. Because the measurements will be inaccurate. If you don't have a tape measure to measure yourself find someone that does have a tape measure and get your proper measurements. I will give you one cheat. Say perhaps you are out and you want to buy jeans and you don't have time to try them on. This isn't a foolproof method but it typically works. If you take a pair of jeans and you think it may be around your size. To test it out take the jeans, throw them over your back kind of like you are putting on a cape. Grab them by two opposite ends of the waistband and pull them around your neck. To see if it touches and see how snug the fit is. Typically and sometimes your neck size will be about half the diameter of your waist. And this can kind of work in gauging what your jeans may fit like or what size you need. But this is not full proof and all jeans have different cuts. And we all have different body types as well. So in this scenario I suggest that you try your pants on.
