I'm Aaron Tucker, and this is how to tie an Eldredge knot. When you tie an Eldredge knot, you're going to use the narrow end of your tie to create your knot. So you want to add that, the longer end that you use to tie your knot. The narrow end should be longer, the broad end, shorter. If this were around my neck, I would take the longer, narrow end of the tie and cross it over at the front of the broader end. Bring it through the loop, and then cross over the back of the tie into the front. There's going to be a little knot in the back. So you want to leave it a little lose, so you can take the narrow end and bring it through this little loop in the back. From there you will use that to adjust the knot and tighten it up. And once you get it a little tight, you will use the broader end of the tie to adjust the tie around your neck to the desired length. And there you have how to tie an Eldredge knot.
