Hi I'm Patrick Coll and I'm here today to talk about how to tap and hold on an iPad. Often, functions on the iPad require you to tap and hold. Seems simple but let's look at how we do it. If for example, I want to combine these two apps into a folder, I can tap and hold simply by pressing and holding with the tip of my finger like this. I can then delete this app if I wanted to, or if I wanted to add my ESPN with my NBC sports, I can drag it over the top and create a folder like so. That's one instance of tapping and holding. Another one maybe if you need to interact with or text, to copy, to paste, to select, things like that. To do so, I go to Safari, I've got some text here and again we just press and hold and we see this menu pop up allowing us to copy. Sometimes we want to define a word, use the dictionary and we could select more text and copy it and this is basically tapping and holding on your iPad. I'm Patrick Coll. I hope this has been helpful. Thank you for watching.
