Hi, I'm Alice von Simson, licensed cosmetologist, and owner of Secret Salon in Sunny Carlsbad, California. In this video, I'm going to teach you how to reduce swelling of the eyes after a cry. Whether it's a breakup or seeing your best friend walk down the aisle, I'm gonna give you some beautiful tips and tricks that will have you looking your best again, in no time. What you're gonna do, after you've calmed down and had a nice cup of tea is you're gonna use one of the teabags, or two of them, in fact, pop them in the freezer for a few minutes, and then place them over your eyes. Now, the cool is gonna reduce the swelling and the tannins are gonna tighten up the skin a little bit. If you're trying to save your makeup and you don't want to put anything damp, then your best bet is gonna be a little baggy with some ice cubes. And, then, because they're gonna be very cold, you're gonna wrap those in some paper towels or a hand towel or something before you place them on the eye because you don't want to get frost bite.
