Hi, my name is Luke, and this is "what does it men to set something as default?" In your computer, there's a lot of defaults and these are the default program that runs when you open a certain type of file. So, if you're browsing the Internet and you click on an HTML file, the default web browser will open. The way you can set your defaults in your computer is by going to the Start button, going to Control Panel, and then clicking on Default Programs. Then, click Set your default programs. This list might take a while to pop up, but once it does, you can see a variety of programs that are installed on your computer. If you want them to be the default program to open whatever file type it is, click on them, and then click, "set this program as default."
