Hi, my name is Luke, and this is "what is it called when you type things and your computer says it?" In general, in computers, this feature is known as text to speech. The computer translates a piece of text or a keyboard stroke into audio. In Windows, this feature is known as Narrator. You can find and use Narrator by going to the Start bar. In the area where you see search programs and features, begin to type Narrator. It should be the first link that appears. Click Narrator. At this point, it's gonna get noisy, 'cause Narrator's gonna start to say what I click and do. Now, we're gonna try typing something and have Narrator narrate the keystrokes. H I space M Y space N A M E, and that's it.
