Hi, my name is Luke, and this is "how to find an external drive on the computer." In Windows, if you'd like to find an external drive that may be connected to your computer, you're going to click on the Start bar, go to Computer, and then, here, under Devices with Removable Storage, it should list any externally mounted drives. If it doesn't show up, or you can't seem to find it, click the little refresh button, in the top corner, here, and you'll see it looks like two up and down arrows. If this still doesn't work, what you can do is go back to the Start bar, right-click on Computer, and then click manage. The Device Manager will now appear. Click Device Manager, and then, at the top, again, click scan for hardware changes. This should scan for any externally mounted drives on the hardware level, and then you'll see them appear, over here, on My Computer. And, that's it!
