Hi, I'm DeeDee Black. And today, i'm going to show you how to sew in a weave. One of the reasons you might want to sew in extensions, is so you don't have to use the heat from the hot fusion or have metal rings in your hair from cold fusion. So, the first step you're going to do is cornrow the hair back, the length of the weft that you're going to place in the hair. Once you have your hair braided, you take your threaded needle and begin to sew. You sew through the weft and through the braid. You go around each time through the weft and through the braid. You repeat each step, until you get to the end of the braid. Once you get to the end of the braid, you make sure the thread is long enough for you to tie a knot. You take the thread and you cut it to the end and make sure it's long enough for you to tie a knot. You tie a knot and clip any extra thread that maybe hanging out. After you have knotted the thread, you cut any excess thread that might be hanging. Then, the weft is complete.
