Hi. I'm DeeDee Black, and today I'm going to show you how to do a clip-in weave. Some of the reasons you might like clip-in extension is because it adds length, changes your hair color or adds more volume. It's really easy to do yourself and very inexpensive. Clip-in extensions can be taken out and put in very quickly. The first step, you're going to section off your hair. Once you section off the hair, you're clipping away the hair that you're not using. You want to make sure that the hair that you've sectioned off is the exact length of the width of the clipped hair that you're going to place in. Make sure all the clips are open before attempting to put it in the hair. Once clips are all open, make sure that you lift up the hair and clip to the hair, do not press the clips on the head because that can hurt your client. You also want to make sure that you don't have any stray hairs from the part above or below, that you're only working on the hair you're clipping to. Once clips are completely placed in the hair, then you will remove the clip and comb the natural hair over your extensions and then you're ready to go.
