Hi, I'm Joseph Yacino, YaDa Chef, and today I'm going to show you how to make cake pops. Okay, what you're going to need is a boxed cake mix, baked according to the package directions. You're going to need a can of pre-made frosting; we're going to use half of that. You're going to go to your local craft store and get some lollipop sticks and some chocolate melts. After baking your cake, you can just take it in your hands, rub it together and crumb it; or, if you don't want to be such a mess in case, you can put it into your food processor and just give it a couple of whirly whirls. Then, half a can; I eyeball it out, sometimes depending on the humidity, depend on exactly how much you're going to need. So, you just take this and then with impeccably clean hands, mix it together. You just mix it until it can come together in your hands 'cause this is what you're going to form is the cake ball, the cake pop. Then, you're just going to kind of shape it into little bit of an oval, strawberry-ish, thicker on one end, thin it on the other, not too pointy a nose, about depending. So, these are just going to go into the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes or it can sit into the freezer for 10, you're going to take them out, stick in one of your cake pop sticks exactly however you want. I'm Chef Joseph Yacino in the kitchen of the Party Penthouse, 4040 Galt Ocean, thanks for watching.
