Hi, my name is chef Maria from Cork and Platter. And today we are going to show you how to cook gourds. What is a gourd you ask? Well a gourd is either a zucchini, pumpkin or squash. And today I'm going to show you a very easy recipe of how to make spaghetti squash with marinara sauce. We are going to take the squash and split it lengthwise. We are going to peel out the seeds. Rub it down with some oil. Season it with a little salt and pepper. And then flip it face down onto the foil. Put it in an oven at 450 degrees. Cook it for about 30 to 40 minutes. And when it's done we'll let it cool to the touch. Take a fork, pull it out. And it's beautiful. Looks like spaghetti. And then serve it with some nice marinara sauce. Perfect for a gluten-free meal.
