Hi, I'm Skylar. You are here because you've seen an error in iTunes saying that the required disc cannot be found and all you are trying to do is synchronize some songs or maybe apps from your computer to your iPhone or iPod for that matter. So what are some things you can try to do in order to troubleshoot it? First and foremost, unplug your USB cable from both the iPhone and the computer and plug it back in. That may actually fix the problem. If it doesn't and you have another cable, try it with the second cable. Sometimes this error can be caused, you guessed it, by the same cable itself. So rule that out first because it's the easiest thing to do. Secondly, if that doesn't work, go to iTunes and click file, then go to library and organize library. Select this option, consolidate files. Then click okay. What this will do is take all of the media on your computer and put it all onto your media folder. It might have gotten scattered around, fragmented, who knows what, but that can fix the problem. So try those two things. Finally, what I recommend is quitting iTunes after you have done the consolidation, unplugging your iPhone and starting from scratch. Once you've done all of that, chances are the problem will be fixed. If it's not, update iTunes and try again. Thanks for watching. I'm Skylar.
