Hi, this is Jaclyn Peresetsky. And today, we're going to discuss how to create a chiseled face. For those of you that are not familiar with the term chiseled, it actually means contouring. Contouring is a very important make up technique for all of us because it makes us look thinner and younger. And who wouldn't want to be thinner and younger. So, our gorgeous model, Ashley today, is going to allow me to create a chiseled face or more of a contoured face for her. She's going to go to a wedding today and she wants to look fabulous. An this is very important for photography. So, when we're crating a contoured face, you want to do my backward three technique. And what that means is you're going to brush on your forehead and you're going to come down the cheek bone and then, you're going to go underneath the jawline. By doing this application, the backwards three, it's going to allow you not to look just contoured in one area. It's going to give the face a nice dimension in the areas that most of us need it. For those of us that have round and square face shapes, it's really, really important that almost on daily basis that you do this contouring. Now, those of you that feel like you have some jowls or you have your chin and neck that seems to be sagging. You want to take the bronzer powder underneath of it. Now, when choosing a bronzer powder, be cautious, you want to go only two to three shades darker than your natural skin tone. If not, you're going to have that orange stripe going down your cheek. And it is not cute. So, having a nice, subtle bronzing technique down the neck is going to firm up her jawline. And it's going to make her look younger and thinner. And also, keep in mind, if you have larger features such nose, you can also brush a bronzer across the bridge of the nose. And this is going to thin the area and also make it recede back into space. So, therefore you'll have a nice chiseled face.
