Hi, I’m Holley Primm, with Primm and Proper Hair Designs, and I’m going to show you how to iron fake hair. So, what you’re going to need to flatiron fake hair is a weft of hair – any size is fine, this one is actually about 20 inches long. Your flatiron set to probably the highest degree it is – this one’s 400 degrees. If it’s a little bit damaged, you probably want to go to 250. And then, also, just a comb to brush through the hair. And also, prep the hair with either an oil or a detangling spray to get all the tangles out. And so, what you do is hold it up. Using the wider-top piece of the comb, just kind of comb through it to make sure the tangles are out. And then, with the smaller teeth, just get all the little bitty pieces that are in there that are tangled. Hold it really firm, start on the outer corner, and slowly go down. The steam you’re seeing is probably from the oil that I used – it’s not burning. So, then you’re going to turn it around, hold it really tight at the top of the weft, and do the other side. You want to go over it about three or four times just to get all the little pieces – especially right at the base, no more than five times, because you don’t want to damage the hair. Once you’re done, you just want to brush it out again. Make sure you didn’t miss anything. Kind of go over it, put your hands through it a little bit. And, that’s how you flatiron fake hair. I’m Holley Primm, with Primm and Proper Hair Designs, and I just showed you how to iron fake hair.
