Hi, I'm Heather Klar. How to shrink a pair of jeans. Jeans sometimes, whether you go on a diet or they just stretch out too much, can be a little baggy. So here's some tips on how to make them a little snugger. Your best bet in shrinking a pair of jeans is your good ole fashioned washer and dryer. Hot water does a pretty good job with shrinking things, as you may know from a very small wool sweater you might have now, as does your dryer. However, there's a lot to be said for the type of jeans you buy in the first place. Sometimes they already have some enzymes washes and things like that, so they might already be shrunk as much as possible. So you can't guarantee after you've bought the jeans that you can shrink them further, so it's really best to buy the jeans with the fit that you already want.
