Hi, my name is Autumn, from Knitting in the Red, and today we're going to talk about how to block a beret. You'll first take your beret, and depending on how loosely or tightly it's been knitted, you'll want to soak it in some water for 15 minutes. Afterwards, take the beret and place it over the dinner plate by locating the opening of the beret and just slipping it over the rim of the plate so that the plate is going to be inside the beret. And then find the center of the beret, and place it in the center of the bottom of the plate, and just arrange the rest of the knitted part of the hat around the plate on the bottom. So, there's the opening on the part of the plate that would normally face up, and then on the bottom of the plate we have the top of the beret in the center. Again, my name is Autumn Wintersgill, from Knitting in the Red, and you just learned how to block a beret.
