Hi. I'm Jessica, an eLearning specialist. And I'm here to show you how to keep those pesky zeros in front of a number in Excel. So here I have an Excel file and it;s driving me crazy because I can't get those zeros to stay in front of my numbers. So what am I going to do. Well there's a couple of options. The first thing I can try is format cells either under the right click or up here under format numbers. So I'm going to format my cells. And in this case I'm going to change it to text. And now you see it justifies left, kind of how you know it's happened and if I put my zero in now it's going to stay. So a couple of different ways to put a zero in depending on what you're using. I hope that helps.
