Hi, I'm Josette Redwolf, and today we're in beautiful Key Largo, Florida at the Art Box. Today, we are doing how to embed and gel candles. And we're going to make some gel blueberry cobblers. OK first we're going to need some I'm using basic little votive candle holders. Embeds are anything that you can embed in to your gel. Stick in to your gel. We're going to work with our votives first. And we are working with our zinc core wicks which are made for votive candles. But I've cut mine so that it's a little bit larger to work with. So I'm going to stick mine right in the middle here and I'm going to get some of my embeds and stick them in. So we're going to fill this up with your embeds up to just the pour line. Like that. And do it again with the other one. So now we have these. We're going to get our gel. We're going to get just enough gel, we're going to eye it, just enough as close as we can that will come up to the top rim of our little votive containers. So hopefully we've done it right. We get our blueberry dye. My handy wick pens which are actually skewers and just rub it through. Because you don't want very much. And go like that. Now I'm going to get our fragrance. You don't want very much in to your gel otherwise your gel is going to get really, really super gooey. Now I've been making candles for 15 years so I can pretty much eye it. With the gel with an amount of gel like this, you're going to not want to put any more than about a teaspoon of fragrance in there. Stir that up real good to make sure that my fragrance gets all the way through. And we're going to pour really nicely. First we're going to start right where the wick is at the bottom. And then we're going to start pouring around the sides. We're going to wait for just a second. Let it seep down in. Because if you over pour then it's just going to seep all over and then you're going to end up burning yourself. That one looks perfect. So we're going to take a couple more embeds and we're just going to place them around the top like this to adorn them. Like that. Here you go. Another one so you can see it. Now we're going to take our cobbler crumbs and we're going to finish it off by just dabbing some on the top because this is blueberry cobbler. Oh my goodness that smells so good. And there you go.
