Hi, I'm Kendra Richards, professional make-up artist, and today I'm going to show you some tips to keep your lipstick from bleeding. So, the three things to keep in mind to keep lipstick in place from bleeding are: One, select a matte lipstick. It's less apt to bleed. Use a lip liner. That'll help control the color, as well. And the third is to use powder to create a physical barrier. So, on Leah today, I'm going to use the Dual Finish by Lancome in Matte Neutral with a make-up sponge. I'm going to use this to create a line, and just tap the Dual Finish powder right at the edge of the lipstick. And I'm tapping it. I don't want to drag it. I don't want to move that lipstick, but I want to create a physical barrier. And, as well, this helps to absorb any oils or any of the lipstick if, you know, you're getting warm and it starts to move and bleed a little bit. This will help to absorb that. And you get the top, as well, and you move in slowly. If you feel like you need to use the corner of the sponge for precision, you can do that. I have to say Dual Finish is my favorite way to protect the lips. Now, regular powder is not going to achieve the result that I'm getting here the way a foundation powder like Dual Finish does. That's what I love about this. This is really the perfect way to achieve this look. And then I just blend out that powder foundation to her face. But you can see what a great crisp line it gives, as well as protection throughout the day, so that your lipstick remains in place and looking beautiful. So, there you go. Leah is set for the day. She does not have to worry her lipstick is going to stay put. So, just remember those three tips: Choose a matte lipstick. Use a lip liner and a foundation powder, and you're set for the day. So, there you go. That's how to keep lipstick from bleeding. I'm Kendra Richards. Thanks for watching.
