Hi. I'm Skylar. If your iPhone back light won't turn off let's check out a few things. First, go to "settings" and then "general." Then scroll down and tap "auto lock." If your phone is set to "never," well your iPhone back light would not turn off. So, change it to whatever you choose. If that doesn't solve the problem though, and your iPhone just won't go to sleep, won't turn off, try a hard reset. That's when you hold the on/off button and the home button together, for ten seconds. That will interrupt the power supply and hopefully get it to work. Continue to hold it until you see the Apple logo up here. If it functions normally after that, great. You could also try plugging it into your computer and restoring it through iTunes. I've done a couple of videos on that so I'd watch one of them and give it a shot. First make sure you back up your content and transfer purchase, things like that. If that doesn't work, it could be a more serious hardware issue, and what I would recommend doing is booking an appointment the Genius Bar so that they could take a look at it and potentially replace it. Now if you're not covered by your warranty or Apple Care Plus, it could cost you money. So bear that in mind when you make the appointment. But it'll probably be the best thing to do in the end. Thanks for watching. I'm Skylar.
