Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you what foundation covers facial hair the best. So sometimes we have facial hair around the lip area that we want to conceal and sometimes we don't want to wax it because that can also cause harsh environments as well so the best thing to do is when we're covering hair which is a little bit of a texture rather than just color, we're going to go in with a cream foundation because that's going to cover the texture the best and also give coverage to discoloration of the hair that's often times darker. So we're just going to find our skin tone on the pallet, take a clean sponge and you don't need too much, we're not trying to accentuate any of the hairs, we're just trying to cover. And so it's very important to tap, just along the areas that we need, we just want to make sure that it's blending in with any of the other foundation that we've already applied to our face, but a heavier cream will cover any darkness that we have above our lip due to any facial hair. And the same can go if you have hair along your jawline or if you have it above your eyebrows where you are just afraid to get it waxed as well. All of these techniques can work for those areas as well. So we're just blotting, if you need a long lasting application it's probably advisable to give it a few coats of powder just to set it in. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how you can conceal your upper lip hair.
