Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to answer your question, how to use a pressed powder as a cream compact? Well, today we can see that pressed powders and cream compacts are two different substances. So what we can do is use the two together, by first using your cream foundation, picking out your own color and applying it where needed. Creams are the heaviest foundations that we have so it's always great to put a pressed powder on top of a cream compact. So the two are well used together, but one cannot be used as the other one, they're two peas in a pod. So the cream foundation do give the best coverage and they also tend to cream up and fill in lines, so creasing also happens so it's great to go in with a pressed powder on top of it to set the makeup in. Just lightly dusting, it's going to help the makeup stay in place and prevent it from creasing up any more. It's great for touch ups. So the two work great hand in hand. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just answered your question on how to use a pressed powder as a cream compact.
