Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, I'm going to demonstrate the difference between a side lunge versus a side step squat. Now, the side lunge is a much more fluid motion because we're going to step off to the side, push the hips and heels down and then push our way back off to the top. Now, a side step squat is a little different because we're stepping off to the side, then we're squatting, coming back up and then bringing the leg back in. Same thing on the other side. Squat lunge and then we're going to side step squat. Alright. The difference being one is a fluid motion, one takes a few beats.
