Hey there. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, we're going to show you some exercises that will help workout the quadratus femoris. Now, the quadratus femoris is a part of a group of muscles that help rotate the hip. Now, these muscles help push the leg out away from the body and then back to the center of the body. One of the best ways to exercise that group of muscles is through lunges. But, not just your typical lunges, but are multi, plenty of muscles, which means we go in different directions. So, let's demonstrate quickly; we're going to start off standing, feet together, then we're going to take a big step out front and slightly off to the side. Big step out front, slightly off to the side. We drop down into the hips and heels so the knees don't track over the toes. Then, we push back through the heels. Same thing on the opposite side. Out front and slightly off to the side, you'll feel the stretch in the hip flexors, the back leg gets to stretch, the front leg gets to work and then push off. Same thing, one more time. Down and up. Opposite side, we go down, hah. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and that's just one exercise you can do to workout your quadratus femoris.
