Hi, my name is Dave Dreeas, I'm here at Peak Performance in Phoenix. Arizona. I'm going to talk about the lunge dip. The lunge dip is a great exercise and can target your hamstrings, your glutes and your quads. It's performed in a staggered stance in a fixed position. You can weight load it, if you like or you don't necessarily have to use weights. If you don't use weights, place your hands on your hips, you're going to place one leg in front of the other. And you're going to slowly lower yourself, until that bottom knee comes about half an inch to an inch off the ground. Then, stand up. If you do a set with one leg forward, you will then switch legs and perform the same movement with the other leg forward. If you'd like to weight load it, all you need to do, is grab a pair of dumbbells, one in each hand, then perform it as previously explained. I hope these tips help in performing a lunge dip.
