Hi, welcome back to the Cave Cam. I'm Coach PJ at CPJ Fitness in San Diego, California. Today, I want to show you light shoulder presses. Okay today I'm going to show you a light shoulder press exercise that you can do for someone who is in the middle of shoulder rehab or can't carry a whole lot of load up on their shoulders. You'll get yourself a fitness band like this and instead of stepping on both sides of it where it will give you a lot more tension, to keep it really light and reasonable, you just lay the whole thing down on the ground, step about half way in the middle of it right there and you take the grip to shoulder height and then you drive it up, minimal resistance. These come in all different colors as well. This red is probably about a medium grade resistance. You can get you know a lighter yellow, a super light resistance but this is a very safe and simple way if you are rehabbing your shoulder to provide a little resistance without stretching it too much and again I'm just demonstrating on the other side. You want to draw up the hand just to the shoulder height and then drive it up. As you get stronger you can certainly scoot up on the slack, give yourself a little less slack there and you'll provide yourself a little more resistance. Okay, so good luck with this one, enjoy.
