Hey there. My name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister. And today I want to talk about how to lose weight on your arms without any equipment. Now we all want to have the healthiest, leanest and strongest body possible. And one of the best ways for you to lose weight is to build muscle. Now when we do cardio exercises, the running, the jumping, we burn energy. But we also want to burn fat. And one of the best ways to burn fat is to build lean, strong muscles. So there's no such thing as spot training. So I'm going to demonstrate an exercise that will maximize not only your arms becoming a lot more stronger and of course losing weight on your arms, but this will also tighten and tone your entire upper body. This is, of course, the push up. I'm going to show you two basic push ups. One the traditional way, the other one the modified way, alright? Lets do the traditional push up first. The first way we're going to do here is we're going to put our feet together, level our body. No peaks, no valleys. Level ourselves right off, tighten the core, so we're working the core as well. We're going to inhale as we drop our body down. Almost like you're on hydraulics. Let your body almost touch the ground, and then exhale coming up. Down you see the elbows are going back for the most part, then exhale coming up. One more time, once again. Alright now that's a traditional pushup. This is the modified version. If you haven't quite built up enough upper body or arm strength to do a traditional push up you can do it on your knees. This is the way we maximize the knee push ups. We put our arms out slightly forward of our body. So we're almost leaning in and then pushing up. Putting all the weight down and then pushing up. Alright? Now those are two fantastic exercises.
