Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, I'm going to demonstrate how to do a sit-up to reduce stomach fat. Now, we all know that sit-up is a fantastic and we want to spot train; one of the best things that we can do actually to utilize our entire body while doing a sit-up is to use our arms and then to engage our legs during the sit-up. So, we're going to do a special kind of sit-up today. I'm using a heavy bag to sort of anchor myself. What I'm going to do is I'm going to bring my arms above my head and to prevent the, the problem with sit-ups is most of the time, we crunch and we round our spine unnaturally and that causes lower back pain. So, to avoid that, we're going to bring our arms up, as we come up, we're going to reach for the sky. That keeps our back nice and flat, reach for the sky. We stick our chest out and still utilize our arms and we work our core simultaneously. And because our legs are anchored, it forces our quadriceps to engage as well.
