Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today I'm going to demonstrate a transverse lunge. Now lunges and squats are one of the best lower body builders you can implore to help maximize your exercise. Now what I'm going to demonstrate right now is a transverse lunge and a transverse lunge is just a lunge where you go opposite just front and back. You want to move your body and stretch those inner thighs, those adductors and make sure you're getting a good stretch as well as good resistance exercise. All right, so here's a demonstration. Going to take feet together, in to the nose, step out sideways down to the hips and heels where the knees don't track over the toes and push back up. Going to do the same thing to the other side. Down, push through the hips and heels, pushing it back and up. You can have the hands here, wherever you'd like, down and up. Inhale and exhale.
