Hi, I'm Michael Mondragon from Nerdy Connections. Today, we're going to learn how to print photos on vinyl, and we're going to learn that in a program called InDesign, and we're going to do that right now. O.k., we're going to print photos on vinyl. Now, you could do this in any program, you could do this in Photoshop Illustrator. But we're going to do this in InDesign, and I feel that InDesign has a lot of good properties to enable this. And what we're going to do is, we're actually going to make a new document, and let's make a big banner. So, we're actually going to make this 60 inches by 24 inches. And so, we're going to push o.k. here, and we have a very large banner. Now, we're going to take this rectangle frame tool and we're actually going to make the size of the document here. And, after I've done that, we're going to go to Place or command D,and we're going to select this van photo. And when I do, it's going to appear in here. And to make this larger, we can actually click the open arrow tool and we can scale it up. Now, the great thing about this is, we can actually scale this up and actually move this around underneath. And this, actually the rectangle box will stay the same. So, we can actually make white on edges. But we could actually make this as big as we wanted to, and bring that down a little bit. Now, if I wanted to, I could actually keep this whole thing in,and position it where I want to, by taking it up. And I can even take my type tool here and we could actually make some type in there. What I'm going to do, is I'm actually going to keep this the same, I'm actually going to pull, pull that in and keep that right there. I can make another rectangle tool or box right here, and place. And I can actually select another picture, I can select this girl, and she's going to pop in there now. We can actually take this box and we can actually select the open, and we can actually re-position her. If I take the close arrow tool and click off, of that. I can actually stretch and make this box bigger, take the open and slide that down a little bit. Now, positioning this where I want to, is very easy. Now, I can actually export this as a PDF, I can put that on a document. So, I can put Vinyl, and I;m going to say that to my documents file. So, I'm going to keep that all the same, O.K., I'm generating the PDF. And there's my vinyl PDF. And what I can do is, I can take this, take this file and I can give it to a ServicePRO, where they would actually output this and it'll actually be to size. And no other adjustments are needed. So, that's how you print photos on vinyl. My name is Michael Mondragon from Nerdy Connections, and you can look me up at NerdyConnections.com, I'll see you next time.
