Hi, my name is Claire Coleman; I'm a Hairstylist, and I'm going to show you an informal wedding hairstyle. So, what we're going to do, we're going to start with our one and a half inch curling iron and we're just going to curl all of the hair and we're going to curl it away from the face. You don't want your hair hanging in your face when you try to talk to people and just enjoy your night. So, it's really important to make sure that doesn't happen. So, I'm just going to do a rope curl and you're basically just wrapping your section around the curling iron barrel. This way it allows your hair to get evenly heated up and it doesn't flatten out your curl so it might, looks a lot more natural. And I just like to, after I curl it, just kind of reinforce the curls, so it will cool off that way. And you just continue on and just do it section by section. And just keep wrapping, there we go, and just continue on doing the rest of the hair. Then, you want to part your hair naturally. So, our model parts her hair here and I'm, you're going to be actually doing a diagonal part for her. So, I'm starting over the eyebrow and going towards the crown. And I'm just going to smooth everything out. It's a good idea to reinforce your curls with hairspray, just to make sure that it last all night. So, I'm just going to do a little spritz here and this is a lightweight hairspray; it's going to allow you to just play with your hair if you want to, if you want to change it around a little bit, it's not going to, it's not like glue, it's not going to be too sticky and it won't flake it either. So, a lightweight hairspray is really good for that. And I'm just going to take a couple of little pieces in front of the curls and I'm just going to really gently twist the hair. And we're just going to twist until we kind of just find the spot that feels really nice, just following the way that the hair naturally is curling. And we're going to just pin that in with a bobby pin. And I like to keep a little section on the top out, right here and we're just going to place it over top of the bobby pin just to kind of cover it up a little bit once we're done. And we're going to do the same thing on the other side and just lightly twist and keep that little section free and then secure that with a pin as well. And I like to cross my pins too, it just kind of help to secure your whole style. And then, I'm just going to take this little section that we left out and brush it gently over top and just kind of hides the pins a little bit. If you want, you can go back in with your curling iron and just touch up your curl a little bit, just to make sure that everything looks right in its place. And then, spray with hairspray. And we can see from the back and here's the front. My name is Claire Coleman, I'm a Hairstylist, and I just showed you how to do an informal wedding hairstyle.
