Hi, my name is Claire Coleman; I'm a Hairstylist and I'm going to show you how to do a bridal updo hairstyles. First thing we're going to do is we're going to section off the hair. This is going to make it a lot easier to work with while you're doing the style. So, I like to section off the top here and just clip it off and then I'll pull the back bottom half section into a ponytail right in the middle of where your hair is. Then, I'm going to take this top section down and I'm going to curl it with my curling iron; I use a one and a half inch curling iron; and I'm going to be doing rope curl and I'm curling it away from the face. So, you're taking your iron and just wrapping your strand around. This way it heats up all of your hair while you're doing it. And you're just going to curl around the, you're going to curl the entire section. So, once you have this whole top section curled, kind of split it in half just 'cause we want to cover everything and just begin teasing. So, you're going to hold the section taut and start from the root. See, we have a little bit of volume there. And do that with the rest of the section. Hold it tight, tease, go back. So, once I have this little bump of volume here, I'm just going to smooth over it with my hand a little bit and I'm going to twist a little and then pin it into where we have our secure little hair tie right here and just secure it with a bobby pin. Now, I'm going to take the rest of this hair with the bobby pin, section end hair in the ponytail and just wrap it into a bun. This is going to kind of create a base to work off of for this hairstyle. And then you're just going to start taking pieces from the front and loosely placing them around. I like to kind of go the way that the curls are going after you've curled them and just see how it falls, make it real natural and just wrap a little bit and place it into your foundation bun and pin it. And I'm just taking this section up and just kind of wrapping it around, just building up my style. Let's more a couple more pins. And then I just take the ends and just tuck them in; I keep a couple of them out just to make it look little more interesting and pin everything. Here's our style from the back, from the front. My name is Claire Coleman and I just showed you how to do a bridal updo hairstyle.
