Hi, everyone. I'm a hairstylist, Amanda Shackleton from NY Bridal Beauty, and I'm here to show you how to make curly hair smooth and straight. First you want to start off with using your blow dryer and an vented brush and take small sections of the hair and smooth out the cuticle of the hair so we get rid of most of the curliness to the hair. Once you've done that you don't have to blow dry it perfectly straight because once we've done that section or we've actually taken all of the sections and done all of the hair. Then we're going to come in with our thermal shine spray, it's very important before you start straightening the hair with an iron to give the hair a little bit of protection from the heat. So I'm going to give it just a little spray like that, I'm going to take a fine tooth comb and I'm going to take my straightening iron and in very small sections I'm going to put the comb underneath the hair and as I run the straighter down I'm going to move the comb down with it. Keeping it just a couple seconds longer on the ends, continue for the whole head and you know you can take a little bit chunkier sections if you want or you can take smaller sections, it just depends on how curly and frizzy your hair is and maybe run it through one or two times. Once again taking a little bit extra time on those ends. And there you go. I'm Amanda Shackleton, hairstylist and I've just shown you how to do curly hair silky smooth and straight.
