Hi, I'm Dave Johnson, editor of eHow's Tech channel, and let me show you how to give names to tile groups in Windows 8 start screen. What am I talking about? Well if you look at Windows 8 you see that some of these groups have names at the top like this one is called Office and the reason it's called Office is because there's Word and Excel and PowerPoint and so on in this group. Over here, this group is called games but this group doesn't have a name, this group doesn't have a name and nor does this one. Well can you change that? Absolutely you can do anything you want. So let's say I wanted to name this particular group. The way you do it is you take the mouse, move it to the lower right corner and click and it zooms out and then you can see everything all in one bite. Now I want to show you also how to do that using Touch. All you have to do is pinch. Now that's cool so if you have a Touch device, that's a much easier way to do it. Now that you are looking at it all zoomed out, find the group that you want to rename and then you can either pull it down with your finger if you have a touch device, or just right click on it with the mouse and then down here in this settings bar, there's an option that says name group. So you can click on it and then just type the name, I don't know what to call this, I'm going to call it general. And now, notice that when we go back here, this section is called general, I still have office and games and so on. So that's a really easy way to organize your start screen. You don't have to give names to every group but some groups it might be really convenient, like say games and office and that sort of thing to give them specific names but it's perfectly fine to leave the other ones blank.
