This is Dany J. I am in Southlake, Texas at Camp Hero Fitness, and I’m going to show you how to do a front thigh stretch. A great stretch for the front of the thigh is just a simple heel-to-butt stretch. You’re going to just hold onto something first so you don’t fall down, kick your foot up, grab it fast, and grab onto the foot and pull your knee into the other leg. This is a great stretch for your front of your thighs, especially if you’re sore and you’ve been running. If you have problems with grabbing your own foot because sometimes their flexibility has issues, we’re going to show you how to do it on the ground. Another great front of the thigh stretch, especially if you can’t do standing and grabbing your heel is to go ahead and sit on the ground. You can take one foot, put it behind you, and you’re just going to lean back very slowly and carefully. Make sure you’re careful of the knee. If it starts to have a lot of pain, ease up on the angle. But, you want to lean back as far as you can go until you really feel that front of the thigh stretch, and just hold it 20 to 30 seconds before you switch sides. When you switch sides, sit up first, then put the leg out, bend the other side, and then lean back carefully. Again, this is Dany J. at Camp Hero Fitness, and I just showed you how to do a front thigh stretch.
