Hi, this is Jacqui Phillips and I'm an expert on eHow. The best way to do eyelashes for your beach wedding are to use individual lashes. I really love individual lashes because they're very predictable and they're stable. So if it's windy or it gets a little wet, you don't have to worry about them falling off or about some big strip getting loose. So what I like to do is I'll do one or two different lengths. A lot of times you have short or medium. It really makes the eyes pop. And I'm doing them here on my friend Aleta at her salon Noah. And I'm just going to incorporate some longer ones with the shorter ones that I've already applied. And this is going to give her a nice amount of length. It's going to give her fullness and remember like said, you always want to make sure that it's on the base of the lash line and not on the skin. Because really these individuals are so real looking and they're so beautiful that no one even knows that you're wearing fake lashes which is the beauty of it. So, you're going to put these on. As you can see it doesn't take a long time. So if you're getting your makeup done for your wedding, I would suggest, and it is a beach wedding, I would suggest asking for individual lashes. If you're doing them yourself, if your doing the lashes yourself, I would suggest just practicing a little. And always use a tweezer that is very safe so there's no jagged edges. You want something just very dull. And this way you can adjust it so if you want to press on the lashes, to make sure they're on good, do like so. And then what you're going to do is you're going to finish it with a coat of mascara. I love waterproof and I would suggest if it is at your beach wedding, you always want to use a waterproof mascara. And you're just going to brush some mascara underneath like you would just with your normal lashes. And I always like to go over on top too. If you feel that it gets a little clumps, just go over it and clamp with your fingers and get rid of the excess mascara that you don't need. And then there you go. And as you can see Aleta has these beautiful lashes now. And it's perfect for her beach wedding.
