Hi, I'm Michelle Simone, and I'm a Hairstylist, and today I'm going to show you a cool way to put your hair in a ponytail with rubber bands. So, for this look, we're going to start with a high ponytail; so, I'm just going to comb all the hair up into my hands and bring it up to about the crown of her head. So, I'm just gathering all of her hair and once you get it all up, you're going to grab rub, one of your rubber bands and secure it tightly right at the top. And that's going to be the beginning of your rubber ban ponytail. We're going to grab a rubber band, secure it at the top and just pull it taut. And then, with the tail of your ponytail, you're going to take it and section off different pieces with your rubber band. But, before you section each piece, take some of the hair right at the top and just tease it. This is going to create kind of a little bubble for each section. So, to tease it, I'm just roughly combing the hair back up towards the ponytail and this is just going to give it some volume, some texture. Once you've teased just that top section, grab one of your rubber bands and secure, I'm going to do about two to three inches per section. So, with the next section you're going to do exactly the same thing. Take your comb, comb it up towards the rubber band, all the way around so you get a nice loop underneath. And then take another, your second rubber band or your third rubber band at this point and secure it right below. And then with her hair, we have a room for one more bubble and we're just going to do the same thing. Take your comb, comb it right up at the top towards that rubber band so that we get it to puff out a little, makes it little more fun. You take your rubber band and then just secure it right underneath. And there you go. I'm Michelle Simone, and we just showed you a fun way to do your hair in a ponytail with rubber bands.
