Hi, this is Frank Ganley, Silver Dollar Golf Club here in Odessa, Florida. Today, we’re going to talk about how to play golf after rotator cuff surgery. A lot of people come to me and say, “Frank, I am facing rotator cuff surgery.” Ouch! There is nothing more than something the matter with your shoulders. “Will I be able to play golf again?” Well, if you could play golf before, you can play golf afterwards. Thing that you have to do is make sure that you do your rehab and the exercises that your physician’s going to give you. But, as long as you have free motion of the shoulder like this in the left arm, and free motion of the shoulder in the right arm just like this, you really don’t face too many problems with it. Do the proper rehab. Rotator cuff surgery is an easy comeback for most golfers. All we want to do is make sure that we have that freedom of motion in the shoulders in both shoulders, depending on which one was operated on. But, those are the motions so that when you come up, you’re going to be able to come down, and go through. If you do your exercises in rehab, you’re going to be fine. If you played golf before, you can play golf afterwards. Thanks a lot, this has been Frank Ganley here at Silver Dollar Golf and Country Club, here in Odessa, Florida. If you have any questions about how to play golf after rotator cuff surgery, give me a call, I can help.
