Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm here to answer your question what water based moisturizer works well for oily skin. Since oily skin is already producing a lot of moisture and water based moisturizers do provide extra moisture, it's pretty much alright to use any water based moisturizer as long as you keep it away from the T zone. So of course, we always want to keep our face moisturized, so it's really just a matter of application. What I like to do is to actually take a brush because it absorbs a lot of the product and you can deposit it onto your skin, sparingly in your T zone which is right here, which are the areas that are going to product more oil naturally anyway and really just dust some moisture on so to speak. Then we can lather it up for the outside areas of the face that might normally need more moisture. Water based moisturizers are going to give that extra hydration because it does have water included and the majority of it is liquid. So it really is all in the matter of the application. You can use a sponge as well but like I said the brush allows you to dictate amounts and portions better, under the eyes is great too. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just answered your question what is the best water based moisturizer for oily skin.
