Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to care for inflamed eyebrows. So a lot of times when we get waxing done or anything where hair removal is done, threading, etc., we do get redness and a little bit of puffiness around our eyebrow area from where the hair was removed and so to care for that we really just want to go in with either a moisturizer or better yet a petroleum jelly. It gives it a bit of a cooling aspect and it also helps protect from any of the other free radicals that could come into contact with the skin so as long as you're not going anywhere, this is probably one of the best things you can do to care for the redness. So it's going to hydrate and it's going to protect any kind of irritation that has already occurred. Redness usually doesn't last too long but if it does this is also another prolonged step that you can take to eliminate the redness and prevent any more from happening because the skin is a little more irritated when it can come into contact with wind or any of the other things that are going on in the atmosphere so it protects and hydrates at the same time. You can leave this on overnight and then wake up and take it off. This shouldn't be worn underneath makeup though. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to care for inflamed eyebrows.
