Hi. I'm Erin Hendley professional makeup artist, and today I'm here to answer your question can I just use gray eyeshadow. The answer is yes, you're very capable of just using one color on your eyes. It's actually something that's very simple to do and no maintenance. So that's what I will demonstrate. I'm going in with our neutral pallet we have a nice gray here. And that's what I'm going to go in with. It's not shimmery, it's a matte and if you're just using one color I would prefer it to be a matte color. So just close for me. And we are going on the eye. If you want the gray to be more intensified you can definitely go in with an eye primer. But this is great as well on just your naked eye. Just sweeping across the main part for a daytime look, this is fine. If you want it to be used for a night time look you can blend it up past the crease and of course building on layers. Gray's a nice color because if you build it up enough it can almost be a black and if you use it sheered out it can read almost as a silver. So it has some pretty fun qualities and can be diverse in how it looks once applied. And as you can see it is looking very nice and complete, quite festive for this time of year as well. And it goes with any kind of eye colors as well. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just answered your question can I just use gray eyeshadow.
