Hi, my name is Claire Coleman, I'm a hairstylist, and I'm gonna show you how to do a bridal hairstyle with a headband. So we're basically gonna start with our hair in a ponytail and I sectioned out the front section of this hair cause we're gonna pull it in to our little creation later. So I have a ponytail here it's at like the midpoint of your head and I'm going to separate it into 2 sections. This is great to do especially if you have thick hair, long hair, it just makes it a lot easier to work with. So we're gonna start and I'm just going to take one of the sections and wrap it around like a bun and just twist it around and you're gonna want to keep your other ponytail in the center of that section. So just keep twisting and you're also going to want to start pinning while you're twisting as well just to help secure the foundation of your style and you just want to make sure that you grab a little piece of your hair from your style and just you're gonna want to anchor it to what you've pulled into the ponytail at the base of it so keep twisting and you're just gonna keep doing that until you can get your ends tucked in and secure that with a pin. Then you're gonna take your extra ponytail and basically you just going around. It's gonna kind of create a little bit of a rosette pattern in your hair and you're gonna place it around the bun that you just created so you're gonna want to start pinning that one too and then we're gonna take this little section here and we're just gonna do a little bit of teasing cause we want to have a little bit of volume, nothing to crazy and just to give it a little bit of extra and I'm just teasing it and folding it back so I don't double tease it and I'm also kind of smoothing the section out a little bit right after I tease it just cause you don't want to have little fish hooks in there. Okay, and we're just gonna pull it back over and see we create a little bit of volume there and I'm just going smooth a little bit with my hands and I'm going to just do a little bit of a twist here. So you can twist it and you can move it up and down to see where you want the placement. So I think that looks like a good spot and then you're just going to keep twisting and bringing the other sections of your hair into it just so that everything is pulled back and away from the face and then I like to just pin it right where your bun is just to kind of anchor it down a little bit and I'm still leaving the ends up and then you're just gonna do the same thing on the other side and then you want to make sure that you have your headband in the right place so for her it's gonna be right here so once you get it in then you're just going to finish up with wrapping the back of the hair around and I like to not keep it as tight just cause it looks a little bit more whimsical and a little less done, I don't really like hair to look to perfect, there we go, and then you just want to secure everything with a little hairspray and here's are, oops, here's our final look from the back, and from the front. My name is Claire Coleman, and I just showed you how to do a bridal hairstyle using a headband.
